Online booking for driving instructors

Learning to drive starts with an assessment lesson, to see where the learner stands and estimate how much practice they'll need. Then come regular lessons, often one or two a week, sometimes doubled up as the test gets closer. Licence holders come back too: people who haven't driven in years, drivers who need confidence on motorways or at night, or riders preparing for a motorbike licence.

Every lesson happens in a vehicle, away from a desk. Learners text to ask for a slot, you reply at red lights or in the evening, and some lessons end up double-booked on paper. A booking page lets learners see your free hours and book on their own.

On Book, each type of lesson is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes: one-hour lessons, two-hour motorbike sessions, a mock test. Use the description to say where you meet the learner, which vehicle is used and what to bring, such as a provisional licence or protective gear for the bike. If you teach several licences, keep motorbike slots on the days you have the bike.

Learners book without an account, with their name, email and phone, and get a confirmation email; you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't book driving tests, track learners' progress, sell lesson packs or take payments. It costs €5/month, everything included: unlimited bookings and services, no commission, no contract.
