How music therapy sessions are organised
Music therapy usually starts with an assessment: understanding why the person comes, what they respond to and what the sessions will aim for. Then come regular sessions, often weekly at the same time, because consistency matters for the relationship and the work. Clients include children, adults and older people, seen individually or in small groups, and parents or carers are often involved at the start and at review points.
A practice built on weekly sessions spends a lot of time on scheduling: holidays, illness, a missed week to catch up. A booking page lets clients or families book within your free slots, and lets you keep regular clients in their usual time.
Individual and group sessions
On Book, each type of session is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. For a group, set how many places the slot has; each participant books one place. Individual sessions use a slot with a single place. Use the description to say who the session is for, where it happens and how a first appointment works.
