Online booking for performing arts school dance instructors

A dance teacher's week is built around the studio timetable: weekly classes by style and level, mostly on weekday evenings and weekends, plus workshops that go deeper into one style or piece. Around that come private lessons, for dancers preparing an audition or a competition, and couples learning a first dance before their wedding. Studio space is limited, so each class can only take so many dancers.

Counting places by message is tiring: who's coming, who cancelled, whether there's room for a newcomer. A booking page takes bookings until a class is full, then stops offering it, and you see the list of who's coming.

On Book, each class, workshop or lesson is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. For a group class, set how many places the slot has, for example fifteen dancers; each dancer books one place until the class is full. Private lessons use a slot with a single place. Use the description to give the style, the level, the studio address and what to wear.

Each booking is for one person, so a couple books two places in a group class, or one private couple's lesson. Dancers book without an account and get a confirmation email; you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac.
