Online booking for performing arts theatre instructors

Drama teaching mixes weekly classes, one-off workshops and private coaching. Weekly groups for children, teens and adults usually meet in the evening or at weekends and work towards a show. Workshops focus on one thing, such as improvisation, voice or a text, over an afternoon or a weekend. Private sessions help actors prepare an audition, a drama school entrance exam or a speech.

Groups only work with the right number of people: too few and the scenes fall flat, too many and not everyone gets stage time. A booking page takes bookings until the group is full, and you see the list of who's coming.

On Book, each class, workshop or lesson is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. For a group, set how many places the slot has; each student books one place until it's full. Private coaching uses a slot with a single place. Use the description to say the age group or level, the venue, and what to prepare, such as a monologue for audition coaching.

Students, or parents for children, book without an account, with their name, email and phone, and can add a note. They get a confirmation email, and you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't handle yearly enrolments, show tickets or payments. It costs €5/month, everything included: unlimited bookings and services, no commission, no contract.
