Online booking for pastry chefs

Much of pastry work doesn't need a booking at all: working in a restaurant brigade, or selling across the counter of a shop. The appointments come from everything around it. Classes and workshops, where people want to learn choux, macarons or viennoiserie. Couples choosing a wedding cake, who expect a tasting and a proper conversation. Families ordering a birthday cake who need to agree on a design. And collection days before holidays, when everyone wants their yule log on the same morning.

If you work in a brigade, the restaurant handles its own tables. This page is for the classes, tastings and orders you run yourself.

On Book, each type of appointment is a service with its own description, and a price if you want to show one. You open slots for each at the length it takes. For classes, set the number of places per slot: each online booking takes one place, and a full class disappears from your page. For tastings and cake consultations, open slots with one place. Clients can add a note with allergies, the date of the event or the number of guests. Before holidays, open short collection slots with a few places each so pickups spread over the day.

Clients book without an account, with their name, email and phone, and get a confirmation email. You get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list and let the client know, and your calendar syncs with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't take cake orders, send quotes or take deposits. It costs €5/month, everything included: unlimited bookings and services, no commission, no contract.
