Online booking for photographers

A photographer's week splits between shooting and everything around it: editing, delivering, answering enquiries. Short sessions, like headshots and mini sessions, work best back to back on a set day. Longer ones, like family shoots outdoors, depend on light and are often planned for the end of the afternoon. Weddings and events start with a consultation months ahead, then a full day on the date.

Every enquiry by message means checking the calendar and replying. A booking page shows the slots you've opened for each type of session, so clients pick one and you keep your editing days free.

On Book, each type of session is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. For a mini session day, open a run of short slots back to back. Use the description to say where the shoot takes place, what's included (number of edited photos, delivery time) and what to wear or bring. A wedding day fits in one slot if it happens within a single day; the consultation beforehand is a service of its own.

Clients book without an account, with their name, email and phone, and can add a note. They get a confirmation email, and you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list and let the client know, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't deliver galleries, sign contracts or take payments or deposits. It costs €5/month, everything included: unlimited bookings and services, no commission, no contract.
