Online booking for illustrators

An illustrator's income often mixes several activities. Commissions, for books, brands, invitations or portraits, start with a briefing and go through sketch reviews before the final piece. Live drawing at weddings, conferences and corporate events takes a set block of time on a fixed date. Workshops for adults or children bring small groups to your studio or a partner venue. Portfolio reviews help other artists and students.

Each arrives through a different channel, and your drawing time gets cut into pieces answering them. A booking page gathers them in one place, on slots you choose.

On Book, each type of booking is a service with its own description, and a price if it's charged on its own, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. For workshops, set how many places the slot has; each participant books one place. For live drawing, open the dates you're available, or book the date yourself once the details are agreed. Use the description to say what's included and what the client should send beforehand, such as references or the event programme.

Clients book without an account, with their name, email and phone, and can add a note such as the event date. They get a confirmation email, and you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list and let the client know, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't share files, send quotes or take payments.
