How independent designers see clients
Independent fashion designers often sell from their own studio or a small showroom, by appointment rather than with open shop hours. Clients come to see the collection, try pieces on, or start a made-to-measure order that needs a consultation, measurements and one or more fittings. Private viewings before a launch, bridal and occasion wear, and styling sessions fill the rest of the calendar.
