Online booking for jewellery designers

Bespoke jewellery is built over several meetings. The first consultation covers the style, the stones, the metal and the budget; then comes a design or a wax model to check proportions, and finally a collection appointment when the piece is ready. Many clients also want a quiet, private time for the first meeting, especially for engagement rings. Alongside bespoke work, workshops where couples make their own wedding bands and short ring-making sessions have become popular, and repairs and resizing bring in regular drop-offs.

A booking page lets each client book the right kind of appointment without calling your workshop, and lets you keep your bench time.

On Book, each type of appointment is a service with its own description, and a price if it's charged separately, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. For a workshop, set how many places the slot has; each participant books one place, so a couple books two. Use the description to explain what to bring, such as a ring size or inspiration pictures, and what the price includes. Book design reviews and collections yourself from your calendar as the piece progresses.

Clients book without an account, with their name, email and phone. They get a confirmation email, and you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list and let the client know, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't track pieces in progress, send quotes or take payments or deposits. It costs €5/month, everything included: unlimited bookings and services, no commission, no contract.
