How a musician's calendar fills

Most working musicians juggle several kinds of work. Teaching brings regular students on weekday afternoons and evenings. Studio sessions for other artists come at shorter notice. Weddings and private events are booked months ahead and take a whole evening or afternoon, with a call beforehand to agree on the music and the timing. Rehearsals and your own gigs fill the gaps.

Keeping it all straight by message is hard, especially when you're on stage when the requests come in. A booking page shows the slots you've opened for lessons and sessions, and lets event clients book a planning call.

Lessons, sessions and events

On Book, each type of booking is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. Repeat lesson slots by day of the week for regular students. For events, you can open a planning call and book the event date yourself from your calendar once it's agreed; an event that fits within one day can go in a single slot. Use the description to say what's included, like the set length, equipment or travel area.
