Online booking for tutors

A tutor's week is short and busy: lessons after school, on Wednesday afternoons where schools finish early, and on Saturdays. Many students come every week at the same time for the whole school year, and the rest of the demand arrives in waves, before end-of-term tests and in the weeks before exams. The organising happens by message with parents, and each change means checking the diary and replying.

A booking page shows your free slots, so parents book a weekly lesson or an extra revision session without the back-and-forth.

On Book, each type of lesson is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. Split them by subject or level if your prices differ, and use the description to say where the lesson happens (your home, the student's home or online), which school years you cover and what to bring. For small revision groups, set the number of places on the slot and each student books one.

Parents book without an account, with their name, email and phone, and can add a note such as the child's year and subject. They get a confirmation email, and you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't take payments or sell lesson packs. It costs €5/month, everything included: unlimited bookings and services, no commission, no contract.
