Online booking for tyre fitters

Tyre fitting is short, predictable work that comes in waves. In autumn and spring, drivers who switch between summer and winter tyres all want a slot in the same few weeks, and a queue forms outside the workshop. The rest of the year brings worn tyres, punctures and balancing, plus fleet and van customers. Mobile fitters travel to homes and workplaces, which means planning routes by area.

A booking page spreads the seasonal rush over the weeks you open, and lets drivers turn up at a set time instead of waiting.

On Book, each job is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. If you have two or three bays, set the number of places on a slot to match; each driver books one place, and the slot closes when all bays are taken. Use the description to say whether tyres are supplied, if you store wheels, and what the driver should bring, like the locking wheel nut key. Drivers can add a note with the tyre size.

Drivers book without an account, with their name, email and phone. They get a confirmation email, and you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list and let the driver know, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't manage tyre stock or storage, send reminders or take payments. It costs €5/month, everything included: unlimited bookings and services, no commission, no contract.
