Online booking for vehicle technicians

An independent workshop runs on a steady flow of jobs: servicing, brakes, clutches, timing belts, diagnostics after a warning light, checks before a roadworthiness test. Some jobs have a known length; others, like diagnostics, lead to repair work you can only schedule once you know the fault and have the parts. Drivers need to know when to bring the car and when they can collect it.

Bookings by phone interrupt work under the bonnet. A booking page lets drivers pick a job and a slot, and gives you the list of cars arriving each morning.

On Book, each job is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. For a full day in the workshop, like a timing belt, open a slot for the day. If you have several lifts, set the number of places on a slot to match. After a diagnostic, book the repair yourself from your calendar once parts are ordered. Drivers can add a note with the make, model, registration and symptoms.

Drivers book without an account, with their name, email and phone. They get a confirmation email, and you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list and let the driver know, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't order parts, write quotes or invoices, or take payments. It costs €5/month, everything included: unlimited bookings and services, no commission, no contract.
