Online booking for tailors

A made-to-measure suit takes several visits: a first consultation to choose cloth and style and take measurements, a baste fitting once the garment is cut, one or more further fittings, then collection. Each fitting needs the client in front of you, and gaps between them follow the work at your bench. Alterations follow a shorter path: pinning at drop-off, then collection a few days later. Weddings add a deadline everyone plans around.

A booking page lets clients book each visit at a time you've opened, so fittings fit around your cutting and sewing instead of interrupting it.

On Book, each type of appointment is a service with its own description, and a price if it's charged separately, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. Use the description to say what to bring, such as the shoes to be worn with the suit or the garment to alter. Book the next fitting yourself from your calendar at the end of each one, when you know how long the work will take. Clients can add a note, such as their wedding date.

Clients book without an account, with their name, email and phone. They get a confirmation email, and you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list and let the client know, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't keep measurements, track orders or take payments or deposits. It costs €5/month, everything included: unlimited bookings and services, no commission, no contract.
