How a wedding planner's year is organised
A wedding is planned over months, sometimes more than a year. It starts with a first consultation where the couple shares their vision, guest count and budget, and you explain your packages. Once they sign, the calendar fills with planning sessions, venue visits, tastings and supplier meetings, then a final run-through a few weeks before the day. Engagement season brings a wave of first consultations, and summer weekends are taken by the weddings themselves.
Couples are busy too, and many planning meetings happen in the evening or at weekends. A booking page lets them pick a time from the slots you open, instead of a long email thread.
Consultations and planning meetings
On Book, each type of meeting is a service with its own description, and a price if you show one, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. Open first consultations for new couples, and book planning sessions, visits and tastings yourself from your calendar for couples you're working with. Use the description to say what to prepare, such as a guest estimate, a date range and inspiration images, and where the meeting happens. Couples can add a note with their wedding date.
