How mediums organise their sittings

Mediums usually offer two kinds of sessions. Private sittings are one-to-one, in person, by video or by phone, and many clients come after a bereavement or a difficult period and want calm and privacy. Group evenings bring a small audience together, in your practice room or a rented venue, with a set number of places. Between sittings, you need time to rest and reset, so a packed diary works against you.

A booking page lets people book without having to explain their situation first, and lets you decide exactly how many sittings you take each day.

Private sittings and group evenings

On Book, each type of session is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. Private sittings use a slot with a single place. For a group evening, set how many places the slot has; each guest books one place, and the evening closes to bookings when it's full. Use the description to explain how a sitting works and what people can expect, without promises. The booking note is optional, so clients can keep personal details for the session.
