Online booking for shoe repairers

Shoe repair is a walk-in trade: heels, key cutting, quick stitching and polishing happen at the counter. But some jobs need a proper look before you can quote and plan them: full resoles on good leather shoes, work boots, bag handles and zips, zip replacements on leather jackets. Customers also like to know when they can collect, especially if they come from further away. On busy days, taking these jobs at the counter while others wait slows everyone down.

A booking page gives those longer jobs a set drop-off time, so you can inspect the item, explain the options and give a collection date without the queue behind.

On Book, each type of appointment is a service with its own description, and a price if you show one, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. Short drop-off slots handle assessments; the repair itself happens in the workshop afterwards. Use the description to say what to bring and how long repairs usually take. Customers can add a note describing the item and the problem. Book the collection slot yourself when the job is done.

Customers book without an account, with their name, email and phone. They get a confirmation email, and you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list and let the customer know, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't track repairs, issue tickets or take payments. It costs €5/month, everything included: unlimited bookings and services, no commission, no contract.
