How watch and clock repairs are booked
Watch repair mixes quick counter jobs with long bench work. Batteries, straps and bracelet adjustments take minutes. A full service on a mechanical watch takes weeks, starting with a careful look at the watch, an estimate and a discussion with the owner. Large clocks often can't travel, so repairers go to the customer's home to regulate, service or move them. Many pieces have sentimental value, and owners like time to explain their history.
A booking page gives each type of visit its own slot, so owners get your full attention and you keep uninterrupted bench time.
Drop-offs, quick jobs and home visits
On Book, each type of appointment is a service with its own description, and a price if you show one, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. Use the description to say how long a service usually takes, whether you work on all brands and what the customer should bring, such as the box or papers. Customers can add a note with the brand and the problem. For clock visits, open slots on the days you travel and ask for the address in the note.
