Online booking for hardwood floor layers

Wood floor jobs vary a lot in length. Fitting a new floor or sanding and refinishing a whole flat takes several days, with drying time between coats and rooms that can't be used. Smaller jobs, like replacing a few damaged boards, filling gaps or re-oiling a room, fit into a few hours. Nearly all of them start with a visit to check the existing floor, the subfloor and moisture before quoting.

A booking page lets customers book that visit or a small job directly, and you plan the longer work together once the quote is accepted.

On Book, each visit or job is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. Use the description to say what's included, such as moving furniture or dust extraction, and what the customer should prepare, like emptying the room. Customers can add a note with their address, the floor type and the area. Each slot sits within one day, so multi-day sanding or fitting is scheduled day by day after the quote.

Customers book without an account, with their name, email and phone. They get a confirmation email, and you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list and let the customer know, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't write quotes or invoices, sell materials or take payments. It costs €5/month, everything included: unlimited bookings and services, no commission, no contract.
