Online booking for chimney sweeps

Sweeping is seasonal. Many households remember their chimney when the first cold evening arrives, so autumn fills up fast while spring and summer stay quiet. Most jobs are short and predictable: an hour for a fireplace or a stove, a bit longer for a pellet stove that needs cleaning inside, more if a bird has nested in the flue. Many customers book once a year, around the same time.

A booking page lets them book early, on the slots you open across the season, instead of all calling in October. Opening summer slots gives early bookers a reason to go first.

On Book, each job is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. Use the description to say what customers should do before you come, such as not lighting the fire the day before and clearing space around the hearth. Ask them to note their address and appliance type in the booking note, so you can plan the day by area and bring the right brushes.

Customers book without an account, with their name, email and phone. They get a confirmation email, and you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list and let the customer know, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't issue sweep certificates, send reminders or take payments. It costs €5/month, everything included: unlimited bookings and services, no commission, no contract.
