How electricians fill their calendar

An electrician's calendar mixes small jobs, diagnostics and projects. Small jobs, like adding a socket or fitting a light, take an hour or two. Fault finding needs a visit before anyone knows the fix. Projects, such as rewiring, a renovation or an EV charger, start with a site survey and a quote, then run for a day or more. Safety checks come with house sales, rentals and insurance, often with a deadline.

Most of these requests arrive while you're working with the power off. A booking page lets customers book the visit themselves, with a note on what they need, so you plan the week instead of returning calls in the evening.

Surveys, diagnostics and small jobs

On Book, each job type is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. Use the description to say what's included and what isn't, such as parts or extra work found on site.
