Online booking for pest management workers

Pest control work follows a pattern: an inspection to identify the pest and how it gets in, a treatment, and one or more follow-up visits to check it worked. Some jobs are seasonal, like wasp and hornet nests in summer or rodents moving indoors in autumn. Others, like bed bugs or cockroaches, need several visits a few weeks apart and some preparation from the customer before each one.

Customers often call in a hurry and need to know what to do before you arrive. A booking page lets them book the inspection or treatment and read the preparation steps in the service description before the visit.

On Book, each visit type is a service with its own price and description, and you open slots for each at the length it takes. Use the description to explain how the customer should prepare, such as washing bedding at high temperature before a bed bug treatment or keeping pets out of the treated area. Book follow-up visits yourself from your calendar at the end of the treatment, so the customer leaves with a date.

Customers book without an account, with their name, email and phone, and can add a note describing what they've seen. They get a confirmation email, and you get an email for every new booking. Reschedule or cancel from your bookings list and let the customer know, and sync your calendar with Google, iPhone or Mac. Book doesn't write treatment reports, quotes or invoices, or take payments.
