Online booking for outdoor activities instructors

Outdoor instructors run most of their activity in groups: a canyoning descent, a climbing initiation, a via ferrata or a kayak trip for a set number of people, limited by safety rules, equipment and the site. The season is concentrated, bookings pile up around school holidays and long weekends, and every outing depends on weather and water levels. Some holidaymakers book a day or two before, from their campsite or rental.

Collecting names by phone and text for each outing, and telling people when it's full, takes hours during the busiest weeks. A booking page with a fixed number of places per outing does it for you.

Participants book without an account and receive a confirmation email; you receive an email for each new booking. Your calendar syncs with Google, iPhone or Mac. Your page shows times in your business's time zone, with its name displayed, so there's no confusion for clients booking from elsewhere. To fill a regular week quickly, create a slot once and repeat it on the weekdays you choose until an end date.
